Starboba Tea & Cafe

I kept hearing about Boba tea, but never had the opportunity to try one. So, when I learned about Star Boba Tea and Cafe, I took the opportunity to try it out and review it. So in this review I'm giving you'll my own opinion about what I liked, and didn’t like (spoiler, there’s nothing I didn’t like) about this great fairly new place where I stepped out of my comfort zone to try something new.

 

First of all, I’ll say this, whoever thought of the idea to put tapioca balls in tea, and smoothies deserves a freaking medal! The idea was little intimidating but who could not want to try something as sexy as this? 

I was in for a treat and didn’t realize it until the first sip. It’s no wonder that this café already has a following amongst Titans. I picked the Strawberry Smoothie and Honey Lemon Tea). With the Strawberry Smoothie it was sweet, but not overpowering, and creamy like a smoothie should be, and just for an added treat the crystal boba hit me with a soft texture that blended in with the smoothie. I was actually hunting for them in the drink.

 

The Honey Citrus Tea was cool and refreshing and while it wasn’t a particularly hot that day it was a welcome treat with the flavorful Honey Boba waiting to greet me with every sip.

The staff there were warm and welcoming, and had the presence that they loved what they do, it showed in the drinks as well as the food they served. While I didn’t get anything to eat, I did steal a peek at what they offer and I’m definitely going to make a return trip for a sandwich and like 2 or 3 of the desserts. So, if you were like me and had no idea this little gem exists (or even if you did and are looking for a reason to go back) be sure to check them out. You’ll thank me later.
