Josh Rynes (He/Him)
Vice President of Legislation and Records

As our Vice President of Legislation and Records, Josh spends a lot of time talking to students and representing student voices to the Executive Committee and in other college forums. He further uses his smooth personality to coordinate student legislative issues and events, serving as the WACTCSA representative. In his role Josh will dive in, getting involved in issues that affect students across the state, and work with members of the TCC administration to improve conditions for students at Tacoma Community College.

"Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature's wrong, it learned to walk without having feet. Funny, it seems to be keeping it's dreams; it learned to breath fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no-one else even cared."

- Tupac Shakur

As a Pre Med student who takes his health seriously, you'll find Josh in one of his favorite places on campus; either on top of bldg. 13, or in the gym and weight room working out, he also enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and going on road trips. So far his favorite class that he's taken while at TCC has been Medical terminology. And if you're ever looking to buy him lunch, he loves sushi, dumplings, and udon. To get his day pumped (no pun intended), Josh likes to listen to EDM music. After TCC Josh plans to transfer to UW Seattle, join UW's ROTC program, and get accepted into medical school where we believe he'll make an awesome physician after graduation.

Get in touch with Josh for what's happening with ASTCC and around campus.
